1. OCCI- HealthCare and Life Sciences
Open Critical Care Interconnect [OCCI] software platform provides an affordable universal standard middleware that can interface with the heterogeneous monitoring devices wirelessly (for example; ventilators, infusion pumps, pulse oximeters and cardio monitors). It facilitates smart alarms algorithms that can be guarded by physicians and medical constrains. In addition to a secure web based remote monitoring portal, it incorporates a lightweight version for in-home monitoring using wireless WiFi access points. OCCI provides wireless access to robust and reliable patient monitoring devices and will prove to be a critical contribution in saving human lives.

US Tech Solutions has capitalized on the Polycom manufacturing applications for SpectraLink Wireless Telephones by enabling customers to expand communication beyond voice. Application integration allows for real-time messaging, process monitoring and issue resolution, to increase user mobility, decrease downtime and enable instant response.

3. Patient Monitoring
US Tech has integrated Polycom’s SpectraLink Wireless Telephone Systems with the top-selling nurse call systems and other healthcare systems to improve efficiency and responsiveness. Polycom’s Open Application Interface (OAI) allows third-party applications to send text messages to the Wireless Telephone’s display and provides for user response through the handset’s keypad. SpectraLink Wireless Telephone Systems can integrate with messaging systems, including telemetry, patient monitoring, HVAC and alarm systems, eliminating the need for separate radios or pagers for healthcare staff. |
